Del Piero is yet another son of the great Donnerhall to have inherited his sire's qualities. After winning the Bundeschampionat for 5-year old dressage horses in 1998, Del Piero won the Reserve Championship title in Arnheim at the 1999 World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses. His natural talent, together with his beautiful black colour and his fantastic character, make him highly appreciated by breeders.

His daughter Donata sold for 40,000.00DM at the Hanoverian Foal Auction in 2000, the highest priced sale of the auction! His son, Del Quento, who stands at the famous Danish Gestüt Blue Hors, won the dressage element of his performance test in Denmark.

The combination of Donnerhall, a stallion of the century, and the highly refining Anglo-Arab, Matcho, along with the strong performer, Garibaldi II, provides him with the credentials to excel, and he invariably passes on his qualities to his offspring, producing horses that are modern in type, have great presence, but extraordinary rideability and calm, uncomplicated temperaments.
